Phyllis Ruffer is a Danbury, Connecticut-based visual artist. In February 2019, she received a Master Certificate in Painting from the Washington Studio School in Washington, DC. Prior to beginning her studies, she spent 25 years as an attorney and land conservation professional with The Trust for Public Land, a national land conservation not-for-profit. She has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Linguistics, as well as a JD.
